Greg Ferris and his wife Ana are fourth-generation owners of Bobbie's Cafe. Ferris said after being in the neighborhood for more than thirty years, they're familiar with customers.
"A lot of our wait staff already know what our customers are going to order," Ferris said. "We say, 'you come in more than two times, and you're family.'"
Alongside friendly and attentive staff, walking inside Bobbie's Cafe feels like home. Having a comfortable and welcoming environment is something Ferris said is essential to Bobbie's.
In addition to traditional homestyle food, Bobbie's Cafe serves "homestyle, Tex-Mex" enchiladas, seafood, and breakfast tacos. Bobbie's even got nominated for best American cuisine by San Antonio Mag!
