Escapism and education take on a whole new level at this museum and studio in Blanco, like you've stepped back in time into the Wild West.


BLANCO, TEXAS- Oct. 20, 2022 - Take a step back in time into the Pine Moore Old West Town, otherwise known as the Buggy Barn Museum in Blanco, for a historically fantastic experience of life in the Old West. This family-friendly non-profit excursion houses over 200 unique buggies, carriages, and wagons dating from the 1860s-1900s. Interestingly enough, it has been used for top-notch old western Hollywood films like True Grit, Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter, 1883, and more!


Immerse yourself in history with a bit of adventure as you explore the grounds as if you were a traveler of the Old West. Learn of Pine Moore's beginnings and its plethora of collection of horse-drawn transportation. See the Old West studio with your own eyes, a Saloon, Gallows, and Mercantile Store that has been hosted for events, commercials, and music videos to this day! Buggy Rides are available by appointment, and say hi to Burley, the bison, while you're at it! Get your Knick knacks at the gift shop

with your friends and family, as well.



The Buggy Barn Museum is located at 1915 Main Street, Blanco, TX 78606.

They are open Monday to Friday from 9 AM-5 PM and on Saturdays from 9 AM-4 PM.
