Enjoy Award-Winning Wine along the Beautiful Guadalupe River

Given how stressful our lives can be, few things are better than just kicking back and having a glass of wine. This is what drove Dr. Sheila Adams to chase her passion for wine-making and buy property right next to the beautiful Guadalupe River, the perfect destination for growing, sharing, and loving local wine near San Antonio.

Sheila, an Army veteran who served for 28 years as a Behavioral Health Officer, created the business in 2019 with her husband "D," who helps run the production side. She uses her experience with management and people to host intimate events for people, such as weddings, so that she can continue "making great wine & pairing with wholesome foods."

Her passion has turned into a work of art befitting such a wonderful locale, with many wines offered that have won awards from competitions across Texas. Two of the most well-crafted wines that are offered are the Sparkling Pink Sky Rose, a French-style wine with a taste of spiced strawberry and gold winner at the Drink Pink International Rose' Wine Competition of 2020, and their Cabernet Sauvignon, a very smooth and coffee-like dry wine that won two gold awards. The Cabernet Sauvignon won gold at the Lone Star International Wine Competition of 2020 and gold at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo International Wine Competition of 2021, where the wine also earned the title of Texas Reserve Champion.

With many more award-winning wines available to taste (over half of the menu!), Sheila and "D" spared no expense to build up their excellent hosting room and beautiful outdoor seating area. An outdoor bar has been built and is in the works to be fully stocked and able to serve wine soon, while Sheila also has plans to utilize a food trailer that can quickly serve some of their "lite bites" and charcuterie that pairs well with the wine.
